Day 1 Pretoria
Arrive in Johannesburg at any time, you are met at the airport and transfered to your hotel. There are no planned activities, so enjoy the city.
Day 2 Sabie/Hazyview area (B)
This morning your car is delivered to you at your hotel by an Avis representative. He/she will go over all instructions and settle directly with you on all local payments, fees and documentation. Drive to your hotel in the Sabie/Hazyview area, a small country town nestled in the majestic Drakensberg escarpment mountains of the Mpumalanga province, South Africa. Options include hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, horse riding, white-water rafting, rock climbing & abseiling, bird watching, 4x4 trips, sightseeing, and shopping for African arts & crafts.
Day 3 Manyeleti Game Reserve (B)
Make your way to the Manyeleti Game Reserve, located on the edge of the famous Kruger National Park. Once you arrive at the Lodge, there are various optional activities to choose from including open vehicle game drives, game walks, visits to conservation projects or local village.
Day 4 Kruger National Park (B)
Travel into Kruger National Park, one of the top safari destinations in the world. Along with the "Big Five", hippos, crocodiles, zebra, wildebeest, monkeys, and amazing bird life abound in this game park. Enjoy wildlife view from your own vehicle as you make your way to the camp inside the park for overnight. In addition to enjoying your own game drive, optional activities are available at the camp including open vehicle game drives with park rangers.
Day 5-6 Swaziland (B)
Today you drive to the boarder between South Africa and the Kingdom of Swaziland. After border formalities, drive to Milwane , Swaziland's pioneer conservation area, where we overnight in tradional (but comfortable) Beehive huts. Optional activities include walks or mountain biking, sighting the many antelope and zebra, or visiting a traditional Swazi village.
Day 7-8 Zululand/St. Lucia (B)
Make your way to the beautiful Zululand area where you overnight in a comfortable guest house in St. Lucia town. One of the best areas to view hippo and crocs, St.Lucia Estuary offers many optional activities such as boat cruises, nature walks, and kayaking, all of which can be arranged optionally, at the guest house.
Day 9 Durban (B)
Travel along the coast to Durban, with its beautiful downtown beaches, lively atmosphere, and street markets.
Day 10 Durban (B)
Your day is at leisure until time to drive to the airport for departure and drop of the car at the Avis Kiosk.
